Commercial Glass, Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier to join our team. Since 1981 we have been a locally owned and operated union glass shop (Local 77).  As a Glazier, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, utilizing your expertise in glazing to complete storefront fabrication and installation. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and a passion for creating high-quality work, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Read and analyze plans or layouts to measure and cut glass to specifications.

• Execute tasks from fabrication to installation with precision and attention to detail

• Collaborate with fellow glaziers, project managers, and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specification.

• Provide excellent customer service.

• Strong knowledge of hand/power tools.

• Have reliable transportation.

• Walk, stand, and kneel for long periods of time.

• Conduct heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Glazier in the construction industry

• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction drawings

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Strong problem

• Solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during construction projects

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team

Compensation & Benefits:

• Up to $31.00 per hour plus benefits DOE
